Where I found it: Costco
What I thought of it:
Once upon a time, a man was at Costco for his weekly replenishment of nourishment and supplies for his home. He passes a stack of yellow bags and does a double-take: "A delectable fusion of exotic mangoes from the Philippines and responsibly sourced dark chocolate." Hmmm, he thought, the best kind of mangoes combined with dark chocolate. This has to be pretty good.
He gets home and presents gift to wife. They eagerly open bag. They taste. They ponder, initial excitement deflates. It doesn't quite taste the way they expected. The taste reminds them of an awkward looking child of two perfectly gorgeous looking people. Perhaps chocolate should stick to covering only strawberries.
Fast forward two days later and the bag is half empty. The unusual combination of taste turns out to be quite enjoyable and, yes, "delectable."
A note for Costco/Kirkland: Cutting the mangoes into smaller pieces would make this more enjoyable. The big chunks of dark chocolate and mango tastes overwhelming.
